A re-imagineering of my previous work, Chunky - is this stark but powerful black and white photo-based abstract expressionist piece envisioned on 24x36 gallery-wrapped canvas. Chunky is real-world based but abstracted from three dimensional space, to 2-D and back to 3-D again through visual layering.
Chriss Pagani is an American-born artist and photographer whose work has been featured in settings as diverse as The Pioneer Museum and The Center For Fine Art Photography. The artist's work has appeared in several books, calendars, magazines, and academic publications, including The Journal of Western American Literature and The Journal of Veterinary Medicine. Featured at Washington's Art Talks Gallery, The Riverhouse Inn and one piece was recently chosen for the cover of an independent film DVD. Pagani's eclectic life has contributed to their style; from backwoods camper to firefighter to animal rescuer and philosopher, all the pieces of the puzzle come together in Pagani art. Mastodon
