There are living things that existed on earth before there was oxygen, before there was grass, trees, or anything we would recognize as life. It doesn't need what we need to live. And it is still here... It might be found where it is not expected. It might be growing. Growing on the ground in a cold, wet place. It is real, alive, and will be long after you are gone.
About Chriss Pagani
Chriss Pagani is an American-born artist and photographer whose work has been featured in settings as diverse as The Pioneer Museum and The Center For Fine Art Photography. The artist's work has appeared in several books, calendars, magazines, and academic publications, including The Journal of Western American Literature and The Journal of Veterinary Medicine. Featured at Washington's Art Talks Gallery, The Riverhouse Inn and one piece was recently chosen for the cover of an independent film DVD.
