Through The Golden Gate is actually very experimental as I have taken a photograph and given it an almost painted-impressionistic type of appearance. Part way through I realized this was not as easy as it appeared and it took a great deal of patience to get it to the end with a result I was satisfied with. A look that was not only painterly, but very slightly old with texture and a golden look that pervades the image.
