**ACHIEVED 2ND PLACE IN FAA CONTEST 'SUNLIT DREAMS' - May 2014
I feel a different atmosphere when shooting shots under a bridge. A little eerie. This image shows the late afternoon sun gleaming in under the bridge creating reflections on the water, shadows from the pillars, and showing lovely warm colors of the sun on the sand.
This bridge spans Narrabeen Lakes, at Narrabeen, Sydney, Australia. It was very low tide this day.

Congratulations on your 1st place win in the Sunlit Dreams contest with this beautiful and unusual shot of light under a bridge. I love the patterns in the sand and the patches of different colors.

Now, whoever would have thought of looking there for a photo interest. You did!! I like all the light, color changes, shapes, even the writing on the supports. Very imaginative take and I like. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Kirsten, I had a fun day this day exploring... it was low tide which allowed access under the bridge. (This is where I wanted to take you when you were in Sydney). I have been there before, but the tide has always been quite high.Thank so much for viewing and for your v/f.

Hello Kaye! I love the sand and the beautiful water in this image. It has an amazing POV, as well which must have meant you had to go "exploring" in order to capture! f/v Kirsten
